Experience
Bruce Hall Land Surveyor Inc. has provided professional land surveying services to civil engineering companies, general contractors, municipalities and the general public for over 45 years.
Bruce Hall received the State of California Land Surveyors License Number 4743 in March of 1979. He is a 3rd generation land surveyor with over 45 years of land surveying and mapping experience. Born in 1949, he surveyed with his father, Clarence, here in Orange County while attending grammar school thru high school. Bruce Hall is considered by more than just one or two people to be an expert in boundary retracement, construction staking and robotic total stations.
Bruce Hall Land Surveyor is a member of the California Land Surveyors Association-Orange County Chapter (CLSA-OC) and was the Chapter representative to the state CLSA in 1982 and 1983. Bruce Hall has taught several construction staking classes for local developers and project managers through the CLSA-OC. He has also been qualified as an expert witness in several court cases involving land boundaries here in Orange County.
Professional Land Surveying Services
Bruce Hall has performed countless construction staking projects (sewer mains, storm drains, water mains, median curbs, street rehabilitations, subdivisions, etc), boundary surveys, topographic/design surveys and “as-built” surveys, property line and lot surveys.
My company has also performed the necessary research and data acquisition for the preparation of right-of–way acquisitions and the preparation of legal descriptions and the relevant exhibits. This work is performed on a regular basis and I have acquired methods and procedures that help the “project at hand” progress expeditiously and cost effectively while providing accurately placed field survey points and preparing maps/exhibits that represent the true field conditions, boundary lines and proposed acqusitions.
The office of Bruce Hall Land Surveyor, Inc. is in my home here in Huntington Beach. My second office is my fully equipped survey truck. My laptop computer and all my ongoing project files and plans are in my survey vehicle/office so that when I am called to perform any staking or unscheduled site visits or meetings, I don’t have to go back to office to get anything.
Finally I don’t have to call the office to get any calcs or plans. I do all the surveying myself using quality robotic total stations and cadd programs. I also carry several 25 foot pocket tapes and an engineer’s scale. (A lot can be accomplished with a scale and a pocket tape.) Supplement these items with my proven methods and procedures and my company is able to create accurate survey staking, topographic/design survey maps, and acquisition maps/legal descriptions as well as property corner monumentation.
Safety is always the first and foremost concern. The lives of everyone on the job sites are of paramount importance. This also includes the lives of the general public that are walking or driving in the areas that we are working in. No consideration outweighs safety. Even the most profitable job, if it cannot be done safely, is simply not worth risking injury or loss of life.
Bruce Hall Land Surveyor, Inc. carries Errors and Omissions Insurance, Commercial Vehicle Liability and Business Insurance.
